Pregnancy & Postpartum Chiropractic
For people trying to get pregnant, already pregnant, or going through the fourth trimester - we're here to support you during this special time. Dr. Rachel has specialized training through the Webster technique and BirthFit! to guide you on your journey.
Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic joint manipulation - commonly known as adjusting - is used to add motion into otherwise restricted or "stuck" joints of the spine and extremities. By applying an adjustment to a restricted segment, the joint regains motion that would be unattainable using only exercise or posture correction. Think of it like adding WD-40 to a rusty door hinge.
McKenzie Method
The McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT) is a movement-based assessment system that educates and empowers patients with the ability to self-manage their lumbar (low back) and cervical (neck) condition at home, without constant need for medical intervention. The assessment helps to determine a "directional preference" for patients, a series of safe movements that can actively decrease the intensity of pain. Dr. Rachel has successfully completed Levels A and B of the MDT curriculum.
Cupping
Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine that uses glass or plastic cups to create a vacuum on the skin. This vacuum can help to decompress tissues by improving blood flow, increasing lymphatic drainage, and reducing inflammation. At Amplify Health Chiropractic & Wellness, we offer cupping therapy as part of our holistic approach to health and wellness.
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
IASTM is a non-invasive, hands-on technique that uses instruments to help mobilize soft tissues. It can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including neck pain, back pain, and joint pain. IASTM can also help improve blood flow and reduce inflammation.
